Our committees need YOU! Each committee needs to be properly staffed to ensure a successful year. If you have any questions or have an interest in a committee, contact Terri Vandiver or any officer to get additional information.
Use the below inquiry form to either submit yourself or a family member for potential membership.
You can be sponsored by any member in good standing from any lodge in the country. You will also need two other Elks to be references. The Elk who proposes you for membership will provide you with a copy of the Membership Application.
You must follow all instructions and answer all questions in the application form. You must return the completed application with $50 to the Lodge Secretary.
The application will be read at a regular Lodge meeting and will then be forwarded to the Investigating Committee.
The Investigating Committee will call you to set up a time with your sponsor for an interview.
After the interview is concluded, the committee will report to the Lodge concerning the membership. You will be given a notice between 10 days - 2 months when a vote will be taken.
When the vote is concluded, you will be notified and asked to present yourself (and spouse) for indoctrination. During indoctrination, you will learn more about the Order's programs and charities and will be provided an initiation date.
You will attend the initiation meeting. After initiation, you are now an Elk and can take part in all meetings and social functions of the Lodge.
Congratulations!
Member meetings are the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays with the following exceptions:
Your attendance and vote matter!
